I especially like that the tips are slightly magnetized, so that when you're taking out screws down in holes or behind things, they don't fall into these inconvenient places, and get lost. In particular I needed the pentalobe tool to work inside a vintage MacBook Pro. The tools come in a quality case that will hold up over time, unlike the set I am replacing, which came in a plastic case on which the hinges broke long ago. The included hemostat is useful for holding small screws while you set them. My fingers are not as dextrous as they used to be. Actually I probably shouldn't call this kit basic because it has a number of tools, like the splungers, that set it a notch or two above.
